The Town Clerk for Fishguard and Goodwick is Ms. Rachel Thomson.

The Clerk is the “proper officer” for the Town Council and is responsible for all the Councils administration and ensures that the Town Council stays within the boundaries of current legislation when they make their decisions. She offers legal advice and guidance to Councillors and carries out the decisions made by Councillors. The Town Clerk posts all legal notices. The Town Clerk is also the Responsible Financial Officer, ensuring that the finances are accounted for correctly.

The Clerk works part-time. There is a 24/7 answerphone.

The Town Clerk’s office is in the Town Hall – to the left as you come in through the main doors, from the square.
The Clerk works Monday to Thursday with flexible working arrangements, between 9:30am and 4pm. The office is manned 1pm to 4pm Monday to Wednesday and 10am to 4pm Thursdays. It is advisable to telephone first.
