From this page you can you see the Council’s financial activities.  The annual funds that the Council receives, called the precept, come from the Council tax that you pay.  The Town Council decides every year whether to increase the precept and if so by how much.

Town Councillors are not paid, but can take a set allowance. These figures are published annually. 

We welcome applications for grants from community groups or individuals.  The project for which the application is made must be of benefit to the towns and it’s residents. For further information and to download the application form go to the Grant Applications page.
