Fishguard & Goodwick Town Council are working with PCC and NHS Wales to test the quality of the local bathing water. Here are the latest weekly test results of the Bathing Water quality for Lower Town and Goodwick:
Goodwick:
Lower Town Fishguard:
These would be classified as Excellent although higher than normally anticipated. This could be due to increased rainfall preceding the samples.

Network Rail are updating old signalling equipment on routes in the region.
Disruption will affect the following routes on the stated dates:
Swansea – Carmarthen
• Monday 16 – Friday 20
September, all day.
• Sunday 03 November, all day.
Swansea – Pembroke Dock /
Milford Haven /
Fishguard Harbour
• Saturday 28 – Sunday 29
September, all weekend.
• Saturday 05 – Sunday 06
October, all weekend.

• Enterococci – 21 cfu/100ml
Lower Town Fishguard:
• Enterococci – 5 cfu/100ml
These would be classified as Excellent.
